Wraps for lunch

if you make them for lunch - to go in a lunch box - which is best?

spread the filling all over the torilla then roll it up or do you put it in the middle as if you're making fajitas?

i do it the fajita way.... though i usually put too much filling in and it ends up that you need 5 hands to control it enough to eat it

the only end that is open when i make them is the end where your gob goes ;)

with a bit of careful hand action you could wrap both ends closed, then cut in half when ready to eat.

well i make them like that when i do them for eating straigh away but i'm thinking about the lunch box action, with the filling be all over the place after its been bounced about in a truck for 5 hours or so

hmmmmmm maybe i could roll em up like a cracker :-)

How about packing the filling in a polythene bag separately and let fatty put it all together himself !

also how long to wraps keep for, there are 8 in this packet so i'm assuming two a day, how do i store them??

fluff i roll the wraps up in the pack and stick them in a bread basket, they keep for a few days.... or you could put some in the freezer

oooh experimenting!! if you happen to master how to make an omelette or fried egg wrap without ending up looking like you are 2 then i would love to know.......

I hate wraps with a venom I only save for cous cous and people giving you a big flat mushroom with some sort of dodgy filling as a meal :/

i just made fried egg mini wraps with lavash bread.. i ended up with 3 layers of bread per mouthful otherwise it would have been a disaster they were so floppy... at least tortillas have some ..thingy... sorry cant remember the word... backbone? toughguyness? i know what i mean.....

have you tried frying the wrap put in frying pan,put grated cheese on top,any other odds and ends and put another wrap on top of that,turn in pan when bottom one is cooked,they're lovely?
