mushroom pate...tips?

i know its generally blended mushrooms with extra stuff for flavour such as onion, garlic herbs etc... but any other tips and additions?


ive heard of walnut, and parmesan and sunflower eeds

You'll need butter joko and apart from seasoning I don't think you'll need much more or you will overpower the mushrooms
I've heard of walnut and just a hint of garlic joko, not tried it but it sounded lovely.

Don't wash the mushrooms whatever you do, or if you do, let them dry for 24hrs, first time I made mushroom pate I did and the damn thing wouldn't set as it was too wet.
I add cottage cheese to mine then whizz it in the blender
