old cold spuds

is there anything i can do with some massive potatoes that were baked yesterday? I forgot all about them!

You could eat them, hot or cold, or you could throw them at your neighbours.

heat oven till hot put tatters in a dish, , with loads of cheese on top. Mmm yummy

Bubble and squeak springs to mind.

Twice cooked spuds,cut in half scoop out middle add cheese, cream, cooked bacon, whatever you fancy. Stuff back in and bake until golden.

Warm butter and milk in a pan with some grated nutmeg. Scoop out potato flesh and beat into the milk for creamy, rich mash.

Plant them in the garden.

They won't grow but at least they'll be out of the way :)

I would chop them up then throw them out to the birds. They need fed in this cold weather.

I always cook a few extra to use the next day as potato wedges. Just chut them into wedges, brush or spray with a little oil and shake a bit of cayene pepper on and heat in oven

scoop the inside out and mush it up with some chopped sauted onions and butter and put them back inside the skins and warm them - could sprinkle some cheese over them. Could put some bacon in if you have it?

When you scoop out the centre leave some potato intact. Oil, and then bake. Once slightly browned fill with your choice of fillings...chilli is nice.

This reminds me of the time I had friends over for a barbecue. When they all left, I realised I had forgotten to put out the jacket potatoes - all 16 of them wrapped up in foil in the oven!
