My mix....4oz plain flour, half pint milk, 2-3 eggs, pinch salt.

I like golden syrup and lemon juice on mine

.... and to the other extreme I like the ready made ones microwaved for 10 seconds!

Can't be doing with all that cooking and flipping and keeping the first ones hot. Bananas and runny honey makes a lovely topping.

We tend to have pancakes every weekend (on account of getting free eggs) so it's no longer a novelty in my house.

Maple syrup and rashers of smoked bacon is good. Once you get in to the swing of it, a dozen in one sitting is possible. Burp.

We make american-style buttermilk pancakes and have them at breakfast with crispy bacon and maple syrup.

Got my stuff yesterday but will make them in the morning and bung them in the microwave at tea time as I will have to make at least twenty one of them (like lemon, castor sugar and golden syrup on mine - like currants in them too but no one else does so will give them a miss tomorrow).
