is there any difference in a jar of, say - a tomato, spicey pepper 'pasta' sauce and a jar of tomato, spicey pepper 'bolognese' sauce, please..?
are they basically the same thing..or..?
thanks
lol, snags, well i do..sort of ..
i make a delicious dish with peppers, onions and tomatoes etc, with a jar of dolmio's sauce thrown in, ie - tomatoey onion and garlicy one, along with a few other bits too,
i've noticed i've got a few jars of both sauces in the cupboard - pasta and bolognese,
so i just wondered if they were the same, they look the same! - tomatoey!
and i checked the label on the bol one, and there was no mention of there being meat in it..?
Hi loooby, I know what you mean they always put that on the jars. After using them I now make my own. To be honest I think they just add pepper and garlic into the tomato. Which you can easily do yourself. Don;t forget to put in some herbs and salt and pepper. A lot cheaper and nicer. No preservatives.
as far as i can see, on the one i checked anyway, not alot!
that's why i was wondering, lol,
and thought id ask why one was a pasta sauce and the other a bolognese sauce
