I am interested to know brands but also how drinkable low cal wine is. I know weightwatchers do wine but can never find it.

I drink dry whites and rose's and love cava, can anyone advise which brand/ type are kinder to the body?

Asda and I think most other supermarkets stock weight watchers wine but I'm not sure how great the taste is. Organic white wine is often good and better for you and now widely available in most supermarkets and elsewhere.

Red wine is much better for you than white - lots more antioxidants.

Try making it longer by adding ice or water. That way you cut down on the calorie count, assuming you're not tempted to drink more because you've used less!! (If you see what I mean!!)

If there is such a wine it might be good to enquire into its production method.  I used to think decaf. coffee was good until I found out that the process of decaffing. it involved all sorts of horrible processes which were in themselves harmful, I should think apart from the strange taste whhich low cal. mixers have.

Indeed, watered wine, or 'spritzers'  (wine with I forget what)  & some ice would reduce the sugar content over the drinking time, but I should think you would only be happy with that on balmy summer evenings - if you remember those?  Organic - good.  Vegan - good if you want to avoid isinglass.  What do diabetics have?

Yes there is a Weight Watchers variety of wine and Asda do stock it but I have heard it isn't very nice. I think that you're best to have white-wine spritzers (like EssJay1 suggests, i.e. watering it down), but red wine is definitely better for you than white - obviously with its limitations.
