Bought some ham off-cuts at B & M bargains, very cheap and tasty. However I have just read the label which states: "Honey Roast pre-sliced Ham". It is the "pre-sliced" which is bugging me. What is the difference between sliced ham and "pre-sliced" ham?

So why not just say sliced? It's as bad as "pre-ordered".
Will they be 'pan fried' with eggs for brekkie?
'Pre' as in sliced before it became off cuts?

Nice one Sandy, I had forgotten about that. Next time I go out for brekkie I shall make a point of asking for my fried eggs to be "non- pan fried".
