'Red French Dressing', please?

The Harvester have it with their salad cart, and they call it 'Devils Delight' or something like that, and I love it, and would really like to buy something very similar to jazz up my salads a bit.

Does anyone know if there's anything about in the supermarkets, please?
I have looked, but can't seem to find owt.

I don't know the harvester one or what it tastes like but have you tried 'Newman's Own'? It's a really nice spicy and acidic dressing.

I'm not sure but could you make your own with normal french dressing and something like tomato ketchup or sauce and chilli in it? I'm not sure what it tastes like but can you identify what they might put in it?

No idea but I bet it is a mayo based dressing, tad of tom ketchup or paste in? maybe some chopped red chilli if there is a little "bite" to it.......

Should find it in any supermarket (Tesco certainly). It was devised by Paul Newman, massive hit in the states. In a glass bottle same shape as the Heinz ones.

Yeah I could try experimenting with mayo and chilli and the likes if I can't get anything in the shops.

I just found that too Shaney :) There was a link saying it can be got in their online shop in a smaller bottle but when you click on the link I can't see it on there :(

jenna psted the sainsbury's link which has Newman's Own in it. Looking at the ingredients in the red devil recipes given then it's not what you're looking for but I'd still give it a try 'cos it's delicious.

Shaneystar, yep, lol, that's the one they have at the Harvester (so I read somewhere, anyway)
But when I recently checked on their website, it's 'not currently for sale'! ;o(

Oh, I went onto the Sainsburys site and googled french dressing and it came up in the products -I had to click on to more to see though as it wasn't in the first few brought up. That should have been the link for that dressing itself.
