Feeling a bit better now and have already managed a bowl of cornflakes today so am thinking I might try a prawn salad later on. Anyone got any ideas for a light home-made sauce for prawns (nothing spicey or anything as the cornflakes are the only thing I have had since Sunday - just not had an appetite). Thanks.

I haven't had a stomach bug, just felt like I had flu coming and lost my appetite. Went for prawns as they are one of my favs and they are full of fat (has to be good for something if I haven't been eating).
oh right, though you had been sick or something.

you could make seafood sauce, its not the lightest

how about just marinate them them in some garlic, parsley with a squeeze or two of lemon?
Tamato ketchup, mayo and salad cream. Just play around with the quantities. Season.
you can lighten the sauce with plain yoghurt.
I would just dip them in seasoned melted butter-not cover them up with a gloopy sauce.
