Why did you buy 10 of something you'd never tried before?

im an in and out quickly when it comes to supermarkets evian, stupid i know.
Well, I know Tesco are very good in offering refunds if you are unhappy so I'm sure Asda will be the same (with the unused ones).
How do they know the products are 'chosen by us'? Do they just go on what sells the most, or do they have people come in and try lots of things and pick their favourite??
Bit daft buying microwave meals, always expensive at the best of times for what you get, not to mention the CBY Range which I assume was dearer on a limited budget innit?
Ten curries in a week? Someone open a window...

*sorry food
you're better going to farmfoods and spending your budget on packs of pork chops and the like and making proper meals. you can then add your own flavouring
Lol @Snags, I have to say that having tried 'Own' brands from Asda I do think they're poorer quality than that of Tesco, not tried the Micro Curries though from either... however I'll avoid them now.
Can you not add a few herbs and spices of your own - I always do as I like a good strong curry or chilli
i tried, chosen by you steak pie last night

i was Sugar. i have sent a cracking complaint email off
Hopefully you'll get a voucher for a dozen more Chosen By You steak pies...
I've asked them to send them to you
I do regular shopping surveys where I get £3.00 for answering questions that take about 20 minutes to complete.

Often I'm asked in a survey, about a product I've never used; if I were to purchase the product how many would I buy for the first time. I then have to place a tick in boxes that are numbered from 1 to 10. I always tick the box indicating I would buy only one. As I've never tried the product before, why would I buy more than one! I often thought who on earth would buy ten without having tried the item, but 'ronnie' you've proved me wrong!

I'm not knocking you 'ronnie', maybe you live some distance from your nearest Asda and you have to take fuel costs into account, so you do a big shop when you do go to the store.

I shop regularly at Asda, and when I've taken things back that has had a problem they've been pretty good about giving a refund.

Trawling the internet, the only quality assurances I can find about Asda is the guarantee they give on their fresh produce, and there's a 100 day guarantee on their clothing.

I think if you don't get any satisfaction from your local store, then write, don't email, to Asda House, Southbank, Great Wilson Street, Leeds. Adress it for the attention of the Chief Executive, Andy Clarke. There's not a hope he will answer it personally, but your letter will end up in the right office.

Good luck.
I think that ALL Asda own-brand (even cheapo Smartprice range) is covered by a refund-and-replace quality guarantee.
I think you could be right 'gingebee'.

By the way 'ronnie' the post code for Asda Head Office is LS11 5AD
...in which case, you'll get your money back AND more naff curries to take back and complain about.....ad infinitum!!
