Sometimes when people are overtired, worried, stressed out or (!!) in love they eat in odd and unusual ways
Question Author
rosie not in love I tellya - maybe a little stressed over xmas. need to keep myself in check as I cant afford any more weight.
The cold weather is responsible for making us do that sometimes.
Definitely the cold weather ! I try and get around it a bit by buying the sweets or chocolate I like least, that way I don't really enjoy it and it helps lessen any gorging by making it less appealing - good luck !
Yes, I'm sure it's to do with the weather. Some primeval urge to build up layers of fat to see us through the winter. That's what I'm telling myself anyway
Anyone any idea why the first 'Related question' would be 'My cat keeps shaking his head'? Bizarre......
Did you really race out at 2.15AM to buy sweets??? I cannot imagine such a craving!!!

If you really have such cravings I would look at your overall diet and habits. Something isn't right and needs addressing if you are on the hunt for sugar in the wee small hours!

I did indeed Eccles - never done that in my life ever.

I know people will think this so wasteful but sometimes in bygone days I would have bought chocolate/sweets - ate some of them and threw the rest of them out. Feel like Mr Blobby right now.

shoota all i got was photo of ham
are you doing it all the time or just in the last week? my guess is it could be the cold weather, when weather is very cold we tend to burn more calories keeping warm. Its very common to eat a lot when its cold, go easy on yourself, hopefully your appetite will even out when the weather warms up
I've been the same this past week....can't stop eating. I think it's the cold
Ordinarily, I have a substantial breakfast that keeps me going until tea. No snacks, just brekkie and tea. And then there came Christmas, and OH amassed cheese, crisps, peanuts and chocolate. I've never done it before, never been a snacker, but three weeks on, I have upped a dress size. If it's there, I'll eat it. Mmmmmmm, cheese. DON'T have the temptation of snacks in your cupboards! I
