I am wanting to take our dinner host some goodies, booze and chocs,nibbles etc. He is a coeliac, any ideas what I can buy?

Wine will be fine as will spirits, you can get Gluten free beer but you need to seek it out.

Most chocolate bars are OK, but beware of mixed boxes as many will have a cereal component.

For nibbles, visit the free from aisle in your local supermarket.

beware cadbury's choc bars now contain gluten. some choc bars in aldi are okay.you just have to read labels. doritos plain or cheese flavour are okay and kettle crisps bu oters have gluten. dry roasted nuts are also a no-no. would advise just reading labels.
