Comfort food - Whats yours?

Mines a boiled egg with toast soldiers, followed by milk coffee with lots of sugar.

I guess I have 3, in no particular orde ;

A large bag of Pick 'n' Mix with plenty of Refreshers, Fruit Salad & Black Jacks

A decent bacon sarnie with English Mustard and a glass of cold semi-skimmed milk.

Chinese crispy duck and pancakes.

Not sure I should confess to this....it's what's known in my house as a spud butty.  Bit like a chip butty but sliced new potatoes instead of chips (so I suppose it's a bit healthier).  Lots of lurpak on the bread & the warm spuds make it melt...oooh lovely!

Pate and toast or current favourite flavour crisp of the moment or after eights or toffee bonbons or special fried rice and curry sauce or piece of homemade chocolate cake and a glass of ice cold milk or haagen daz choc choc chip ice cream and the list goes on and on and on ..................................................................

Ooooh Robinia...I love hot mashed potatoes in a sandwich!!
Plenty of butter on the bread.

Mine is mashed potato with lots of butter, salt and pepper and hp sauce.

I've never had them in a sandwich but it sounds like I'm missing out so must give it a try.

Mashed potato and fish finger butty with salad cream, pepperoni pizza, egg fried rice with sweet and sour chicken hong kong style, cadburys chocolate buttons, Ben and Jerrys Phish food, big cup of strong tea with a little milk and a whole packet of chocolate hob nobs.

Mmmm I love mashed potato sandwiches either with gravy or baked beans... and fish finger sarnies with tomato ketchup... and jacket potato with cheese, beans and spring onion....

I'm hungry now!!

Toast with masses of butter and chocolate - not together. Home made soup in the winter. And frozen peas - straight from the freezer.
