Can You Use Mince For Curries?

We usually use chicken when we are making curries but I'm just wondering what would it be like to use mince beef instead?

I Have a very nice Keema (mince) and Pea curry at our local curry house, - the curry is about the spices, not what meet you use. - although usually its made with Lamb mince as of course for religious reasons most curry eating countries don't eat beef.

I think most 'Indian' restaurants in UK are actually Bangladeshi and thus Muslim.

Pre-cook it before adding to the onion, tomato and spices so that the juices mingle. The Indian seamen who taught me wouldn't touch beef but its fine.

Treat it like you're doing a "chilli con carne" but use curry powder (or make your own) instead of just chilli.
I've used minced beef, pork, lamb and turkey and had no complaints.

Hard boilded eggs taste great in a mince curry. Just make your curry then add the eggs,halved or quarted and stir them into the curry. My ex ma in law did this and shes asian.
