You have asked this twice and not got an answer.

Why not ask on the Manchester forum of Trip Advisor.

There is always lots of peeople giving travel advice on Trip Advisor
Hi carrust The famous Curry Mile is probably less that 3 miles from the BH and you should be able to find what you are looking for there.
I wouldn't recommend a restaurant to anyone as we all have different tastes.
Enjoy your evening. What are you going to see?

No I've never heard of them! See if this link works. the curry mile is on Wilmslow Rd but this link shows places nearer to the BH.
Just a touch condescending. I'm a big fan of Ally Bain and I have watched and recorded all the Transatlantic Sessions.
I'm sure there will be many AB'er who will have heard of these artists. Good taste in music seems to be the order of the day here.

chris. I'm also going to see Robert Cray...have you heard of him? I didn't mean to be condecending, but some of the people on here think that Meat Loaf & Queen are the height of musical taste.
carrust if you come back to this, the link I put on shows the Indian places nearest to the BH. If you get as far as Wilmslow Rd Rusholme, then you are on Curry Mile where you will be literally be spoilt for choice.
Carrust. Sorry I didn't mean to be so touchy, I'm not feeling to good today.
No I've not come across Robert Cray before now so I shall see what I can find and have a listen. I'm also a big admirer of Danny Thompson who I remember from the Alexis Korner days and also of course Pentangle. (Yes I'm that old).
Hope you enjoy yourself at the concert. If you haven't already been to the Bridgewater I can assure you you're in for a treat. The accoustics are amazing.
The last time I was able to go was to see EmmyLou Harris and it was the best concert I have been to so far.
" but some of the people on here think that Meat Loaf & Queen are the height of musical taste. "

Nowt wrong with either of those two!

And yes,I did think you were condescending
Question Author
missprim. Thanks for the link. As we're on public transport I think the curry mile will be a bit too far. Our train is at 11-40 so we don't know how much time we've got between the concert finishing & the train departure.
Boo. if you like those 2 bands you deverve to be condended:-)
Love Queen, never heard of Robert Cray..........

Bohemian Rhapsody is the worst the song ever recorded IMHO
That's fine carrust, it's your opinion. To say someone elses taste in music is worse than yours is once again, your opinion, although not neccesarily the truth.
