I took a 'joint' of turkey out of the freezer yesterday morning...its a rolled and boned large piece, which still hadn't defrosted by yesterday evening.. then I forgot about it.. until this morning.. its been covered and left in a cool place,, it is now defrosted.. looks and smells fine.. My question is do you think it will be safe to eat today if I cook it through properly and slowly.. I think it will ... just wanted a second opinion! Ta everso.. Mrs C x

Yes, we'd eat it.
Of course. No problems whatsoever. It will be OK for a couple of days yet. Just put in in the fridge.
It will be no different to any fresh piece of meat you bought from the butchers in fact!!
