it's curry for me tonight. OH is a curry addict, he cooks it at least three times a week. We're using bhut jolokia chillies, so it's gonna be a hottie!
i love hunters chicken. You've given me an idea for tomorrow :)
Ive just had my dinner, a few slices of various meats, mostly foreign hams so thin I could spit through it but very tasty, some feta cheese and various salads and a spoonful of baked beans. all in very nice indeed, I will need another more substantial meal tonight I feel!
Trigger - square of buttered foil salmon steak on top, fresh lime juice and zest, little grated ginger and a sprinkle of soy scrunch up parcel tight with no gaps cook for 15 min in a hot oven lovely with braised fennel or toasted sesame noodles or you could use white wine and lemon, or pesto and slices of tomato
No charlie, just cook for the family - got more into it the last 18 months or so as I've practically given up work - I love reading cookery books. Curries are my speciality
I cba so we will have chicken salad. I've marinaded some chicken will make a potato salad, a cous cous salad with pepper and peanuts and a red onion, tomato and basil salad, couple of beetroot, some boiled eggs and some tarragon mayo.
I hope it's pink veal charlie!! I haven't had veal in years - thin the last time I did have it was in Portugal. I was tempted a few weeks back at the farmer market but some venison caught my eye and I thought I'd do a venison casserole in red wine with wild mushrooms and shallots, smoked bacon lardons - served with spring onion and herb dumplings - glad I did!
barmaid - all that and you CBA ? -oh well -its eggs however way you want them and oven chips chez magsmay and anything you can find in the cupboard for afters - and i will probably eat about 10pm as we've just had another set of twins - a Tup and a Gimmer this time and looks like 2 more ladies are warming up ;-)
Off to Sicily at 3 am so it'll be the chippy, he does a lovely plaice. Like the salmon idea, I do a similar thing but lazier, I use sweet chilli sauce as a rub then bake it in foil. Lovely with couscous.
lol Magsmay, that IS my version of CBA. But it is really a case of opening packets and sticking them all together.
COngrats on the lambs btw. My mate is doing OK - he had his first set of triplets but they died, but the second set of triplets lived and since then he's up to about 13.
