Parmo

Anyone had a Parmo?
Not sure? If you've been to the Middlesbrough area and fancied a bite to eat after a night out you've almost certainly had/seen one.

for more details.
Do they have them anywhere else in the UK or is it a Teesside 'delicacy'?

Parmesans are exclusice to Teesside as far as I know. I moved from Stockton to Gateshead last December and they havent a clue up here what one is and were only 40 miles away! I still crave them on a weekend, especially that moment when u get it home and open the polystyrene box, gaze drunkenly at it with lustful eyes and savour that first bite. Not so nice 20 mins later when you feel like you're stomach is going to burst and spew Creamed Cabbage all over the joint.
I have and miss them very very much. I moved from Teesside 8 years ago to the North West and they have no idea what one is over here. The best was always the Europa on Borough Road is it still there ?. I only get over for Boro games and don't venture into town. Is that big massive slide still in Albert Park
