When I was growing up, Anchor was the butter of choice in our house. There was nothing like it for scrumptious toast or buttered bread dipped in deep orange egg yolks. I've been using spreadables for many a year now. The other day I decided to treat myself to 'proper' Anchor. I almost wretched at how salty it was. Can anyone recommend a 'proper' butter, with that lovely buttery taste but without that overpowering salty taste?
