No, but I want to now. Where do you get them?

LOL - they just look doughnut shaped. Also known as Saturn peach among other names. They look like they are easier to eat due to their shape.
So they're not a fat laden ball of heaven then! Disappointed. I'm off to google this fruit.
yes but i didn't find them as tasty or as juicy as "normal" peaches....mind you they might not have been good ones.
I've had donut nectarines... tasted just like a normal one.
They can't be THAT unusual - our local market has them...though I haven't tried them.
Have seen them before, can't remember where though. Our Tesco only seems to sell fruit that is perfectly round or perfectly straight so I won't hold my breath on seeing them in there anytime soon.
rocky, the ones I bought were from tesco.
You mean the squashed looking ones?

If so - yes, they're good, and as you suppose, a little less fuss.

They are cute to look at but ultimately they are different shaped peaches. As with a lot of fruit that has been picked before ripe, to allow them to be shipped, they sit on your windowsill until in the dead of night, while you are asleep, they go from under-ripe to mouldy:-(
Woofy, you must live in a posher area than me ;-)
I buy them from the farm shop....they're delicious...much prefer them to normal peaches. x

I`d never seen them before a couple of weeks ago in a canteen. Someone picked one up and said "Look at that piddly little peach, I`m not paying for that". Then I saw lots in a market in the US and they looked lovely. I might give them a try if they have them in a market here.
i like them
-- answer removed --
stew them with a little brown sugar and some star anise (the plums)
I've tried them and I didn't like them. Most of the peaches on sale these days don't taste of anything, in my opinion, but it could be that I'm getting old!
Trigg, where do you get them then?
