Toblerone - out on its own, triangular chocolate, that's toblerone, made with triangular almonds from triangular trees, triangular honey from triangular bees, and oh Mr Confectioner please, give me toblerone. Do you remember that ad?? Apparently, it is made in that shape to represent the Alps, as it is swiss chocolate. I mean, only the swiss could make a chocolate that hurts when you take a bite!!
I can recommend dark chocolate like Green and Blacks... it still gives you that sugar fix but isn't NICE enough for you to want to eat the whole lot!! I have a little bit when I feel like it with a cup of tea, and it stays in the fridge for ages. That NEVER happens with milk choc!!
I just hope my son knows when to stop when he starts his new Toblerone! My daughter returned from school trip 12 days ago on son's birthday clutching a mighty Toblerone pressie - two and a half feet long and weighing in at 4.5 Kg - I am still in anticipation of the opening ceremony as up to now it has only been photographed as an item of wonder! I struggle to lift the thing and my son is still wondering how to open it in a way that will keep it fresh!
