I had brunch of smokey bacon tomatoes and bubble and squeak with fruity sauce, it was delicious
yo, eccles!

beef stroganoff, wild rice (it'll be bloody livid by the time I get round to it) and a green salad
I'm doing a roast chicken, yorkies, roast potatoes, carrots and broccoli. I hate doing Sunday dinners so it happens once in a blue moon.
We are having the remains of last night's pasta sauce which I made with what little I had left in the fridge. Although why I found it necessary to bulk up on pasta just before leaving for Italy is anyone's guess.
Have just eaten lamb chops with mint jelly, roast potatoes, honey roast parsnips.cauliflower in white sauce, buttered cabbage and thick gravy. Followed by Sainsbury's creme brulee.
No idea, we've only just had breakfast, there are several options for tonight in the fridge.

Tamaris, that sounds lovely....add a few mush and I'd be in heaven!

I haven't had strog or wild rice for ages....these threads are so good for inspiration!

Go for it Sherr, they'll love you for it.

Barmaid, running down the fridge can be brilliant or like a really bad episode of Ready, Steady, Cook! For me it is more often a bad RSC experience!
I am thinking of doing a chicken curry.
Pork chops, not sure what to have with them yet!

I've got some curly kale soaking in some salt water to kill off any remaining caterpillars, I'm not vegetarian but I really don't like finding hidden protein in my greens on the plate :-(
Ive just cooked my Dad a lamb streak with mash, veg and yorkshire puddings. im having cheese and home grown tomato french bread pizza later, like boxtops its not long since i had breakfast!
I made a tuna may and sweetcorn sandwich. My mums making roast chicken but I haven't got the energy to get ready and go round. I'm too tired :o(

Go and find your get up and go Tigger, it's probably slipped down the back of the sofa. You know it will be worth it!

I'm doing roast chicken too, I'll stuff the cavity with onion, garlic, lemon and thyme; roast potatoes, braised leeks, steamed PSB and creamed kale. I think I might have some sticky toffee pudding in the freezer to finish off with.

It's just the meal for a very wet and stormy Sunday!
can't be arsed so it'll be lamb chops done in the oven, and whatever is in the fridge chopped up for a stir fry..........
We're thinking about something light. Quite a nice day here, almost salady still.
PSB Eccles??

Purple sprouting broccoli! First I've seen this season......quite excited in a rather sad, nerdy, cook kind of way :-(

Hopefully it will be better than the Hospital food
I was on Friday and Saturday!
