Have a recipe for Curry Goat that I fancy trying out but it says I need "green onions". I know that Caribbean's call "spring onions" or "salad onions", "skellions" - is it the same thing?

I have looked in the glossary of ingredients in the back of the Carribbean Cookbook I am using and it says:
"Green Onions: Jamaicans call these 'skellions', and some North Americans call them 'spring onions'."
I will stick with the spring onions thanks - I don't fancy adding 5 onions to a dish that serves 4 people. Our guts will be off for weeks!
