I lived in Somerset about 5 years ago where I was able to buy this fantastic spicy peanut ketchup (can't think who made it or what it was called) from a supermarket in Radstock, I think.

Have never been able to find it anywhere since, can anyone help with a name or maker etc?

God I miss it!

You could try an oriental grocery store, e.g. Wing Yip. It sounds like a Thai condiment.
It sounds amazing, let me know if you find any!!!

If you click here and scroll down to the bottom of the page, you will find a recipe for walnut ketchup. I'm sure you could modify that in order to make your very own peanut ketchup. Perhaps you could add different spices to get the 'spicy' effect you mention.
I did find one website in which an American refers to having bought a product called 'Pennsylvania Peanut Ketchup' whilst on holiday in Britain. He then goes on to say he had never been able to find it since, so it looks as if production has ceased.

Quizmonster you are indeed an AB'er on high!

I think that might be it, 'pennslyvania peanut ketchup' !!

Anyone know if its still made, or where I can get some?

It was so good, I'll buy the factory if need be.

I too have been looking for "American Style" Peanut Ketchup. I lived in the U.S. for 25 years and never saw anything like it there. I used to buy it in Tesco.
