Yellow Lentils

bought some today, apart from having fun trying to say yellow lentils without my wallies falling out, what, if any, is the difference between them and red lentils?

I thought I had some yellow but can't find them so can't check, but I thought that while red lentils cook up very quickly, yellow ones take much longer and might need a few hours pre-soak. Any instructions on the packet?

Boxy, it's been ages since I bought the brutes and memory isn't wot it used to be

Rosie, just says to drain before boiling for 20 mins or until soft, so I'll do a Boxy and treat them the same.
