Prawns
Can someone let me have an idea for using prawns in a buffet but not vol-au-vents please. It is my daughter's 21st tomorrow and I have bought two bags of frozen Young's peeled prawns. Tried to e.mail young's chef from their website but no reply. It is a special request from my daughter but I have never used them b4
Cheers

Great ideas which I can play around with, got lots of Ritz crackers 'cos what would a party be without them! Like the bread idea too 'cos it is easy.
Now talk me out of the gateau and cheesecake, plus I have bought the cake from 'Have your cake and eat it', check out their site,
haveyourcakeandeatitorg. From Preston but they have moved recently and are just up the road!
I have ordered number 42 and it costs 52 but my daughter will be so chuffed!
Forgot to mention, in the pink sauce a little paprika is nice (don't worry if you see this too late to stick a bit in).
Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!
The 21st went really well, (if u were 21 and could stand the music so monotonous and loud, I sneaked away at 10pm to come home to watch BB final. ) The buffet went down really well though, I tried two prawn suggestions, the thousand island one and the sandwicj one, but I used wheatgerm bread, they all went so must have been good. Most popular buffet item? New potatoes, boiled with their skins on, tossed in mint sauce, I kid u not!
The cake was the star of the show next to my daughter who was IN A DRESS! She looked like a movie star! It was a bright red floor length figure hugging satin skirt with a bodice top, she even outshone the fabulous cake! We scrub up well in Lancashire!
