So, what's your favourite cake in the world? Coffee and walnut? Chocolate and almond? If you have an recipes, I'd love to share some!

I love the ALLBRAN cakes my Mum used to make, she gave me the recipe and it is really easy to do, you soak the ALLBRAN in milk for a bit, then add plain flour and bicarb, then mixed dried fruit and ginger and cook it in a bunloaf tin.  Not very precise recipe but I just throw it together now after making it for 25 years and so I would have to find the notes my Mum gave me when I got married in 1978!

I love that refridgerator cake that is chocolate with crushed biscuits and cherries. No idea how to make it though! Would love to know!

I love coffee and walnut cake, even though I can't stand drinking coffee! I also like a homemade victoria sponge. Don't make them myself, I buy them at summer fairs or a W.I. market!

Spudqueen, they're my two favourites as well. You can't beat a good homemade Victoria Sponge or Coffee and Walnut Cake (and funnily enough, I can't stand drinking coffee either!), especially when it's butter icing!

Light, moist pineapple upside down cake, with warm vanilla custard.  Mmmmmmmm!

ry crushing any biscuit you like add melted butter and form as a base in any container, melt your fave chocolate mix with marscapone cheese add a capful of your fave spirit/liquor mix again pour over the base chill well then serve with creme fraiche its easy & tasty

Delia's Iced Lemon Curd Layer Cake...........absolutely scrummy!  But going to try it with limes next time I make it.
