seeds are good aparently! i eat fruit to snack on, its quick, yummy, full of natural sugars and easy way to get your 5 a day
Seeds (yum!), nuts (but not too many as they are quite high in fat) fruit, carrot /cucumber /celery sticks with hummus, natural bio-live yogurt, toast & peanut butter (make sure you have wholegrain or whole meal bread though as white bread basically has the goodness stripped out of it, and if you can stomach sugar free peanut butter fantastic!). hope thats given you some ideas!
Low fat cup-a-soups or make your own vegetable soup - tin of tomatoes, chop up root veg (carrots, parsnips, swede, turnips etc), onion, anything really, garlic, salt and pepper, tomato puree - boil it all up and then either leave it in chunks or stick it through the food mixer - completely fat free (and you can heat it up in the microwave).

Snack-a-jacks (i.e. rice cakes - the choc/orange snack-a-jacks are nice), a tub of salad, or fresh fruit salad.... those pasta cup-a-soups are nice and not TOO fattening.

Toast and marmite. (I'd have thought peanut butter would have been full of fat???!).

I always keep a packet of Ryvita in my drawer and a packet of Kraft cheese slices in the fridge.  They last for ages in the fridge   I then make a 'sandwich' with a slice of Ryvita either side.  It is quite filling and stops you feeling hungry ...    At least you know you have always got something handy.

I agree wholeheartedly with otrere about the home made soup:

a) virtually guilt free

b) VERY easy (yet also satisfying) to make  - and can be made in big batches for less faffing about.

c) you can tamper with the ingredients to find a blend you love to eat

d) it fills you up

e) it's good for you! all those veg!

I haven't done it for a while, but yesterday bought a bag of cheapest carrots, which i will boil up for ages in chicken stock, add a couple of spices, hand blend, and scoff. good to add a little lemon juice before serving up. nivce with cinammon, black pepper, dask of worcester or tabasco if you like a kick...

invest in a suitably stylish and unobrusive flask, and Bob's yer uncle!

"Shed Those Unwanted Pounds and Love Yourself Again"

although you may want to check your employer's policy on staff "loving themselves" in company time....in that special way.

my wife is a bit of health nut, she loves a mashed banana with a few teaspoons of light tahini (creamed sesame seeds).  She says it tastes all gooey and caramelly but is really good for you, loads of vitamins (not sure on the fat though, she's like a rake and eats anything she likes, unlike me who is supremely jealous of her- but that's a whole new thread) I wouldn't know what it tastes like, I am allergic to nuts, pulses, seeds and stuff like that.

she also eats seeds, she toasts pumpkin seeds in the autumn after she has done the jack-o-lantern thing and made pints of pumpkin seeds.  She says those are yummy with cracked sea salt on.  She also toasts pine kernals.

I tend to stick to clementines.

When I was being good (not at the mo, stone overweight!) I used to take a plastic box filled with strips of red and yellow peppers and cucumber to work with me, and sometimes some cherry tomatoes. No fat whatsoever, you may think that this is no good to fill you up, because of the high water content, but believe me, you can sit and munch on them all day with no problem, so you can take loads with you!!! That or berries, particularly strawberries and blueberries. However, as others have said, bananas are very filling Oat cakes are also pretty good, as are Ryvita (esp. the multigrain one, as it has much more flavour than the normal plain cardboard ones!!)
oh i know the feeling!!!    yeh seeds r supposed to be good ! especially sesesmee ( they raise ur sex drive 2 lol) ummmm.... wen im hungry i eat vanilla muller yoghurt with chopped banana or maybe you could whip up a fruit salad in a container ( srawberries grapes yummy!!) healthy snack bars like nutri grain bars or crackers with ligth spreads or meat slices etc.....hope it helps!
