Ready Meals

Do you eat ready meals maybe for convenience or just enjoy them what's the best ready meal you have had, I have had Marks Spencer curries Indian Chinese etc and they are very tasty, any recommendations!

I've hardly ever eaten ready meals - only as a last resort when staying somewhere with just a microwave. M&S win this one hands down - perfectly edible but not exciting.

When I was working full-time I used them a lot, for convenience AND because we enjoyed them.

Mostly for convenience, and not often these days. The specialised 'meal for one' or 'meal for two' type tend to be in a different league to the frozen types. But both "fill a hole".

Never. I want fresh food,not meals with preservatives and other mystery ingredients in them. I think I tried an M&S meal about 4 years ago...I wasn't impressed.

Keep a couple in the freezer for emergencies. Not overly impressed. Too sweet for me.

At my age I need all the preservatives I can get !

Never! I tried one once, not enough in it to feed a sparrow and it tasted like crappy mush!

I buy a ready meal now and again. Most are crap but Iceland Chinese chicken and noodles is passable.

I love M&S Spanish chicken with patatas bravas with alioli. Waitrose also do a nice filled Yorkshire pudding I like the roast beef on and Queenie prefers the bangers and mash one. Alright as an occasional treat.

I regard ready meals as an occasional penance - definitely not a "treat".

Can't remember the last time I had a ready meal. M&S do some nice ones though.

Iceland Supreme chicken with rice and Youngs salmon fillet dinner for one, you can buy both in Iceland I keep in as an emergency

I like Birds Eye chicken supreme.
