I bought some delicious sour dough bread and it is hard after just one day. Is there any way to make it soft again?

I'm not completely sure what sour-dough bread is but if I have a loaf of fresh bread that has gona a little hard I put it in the oven for about 10 minutes and the outside goes nice and crispy and inside is warm and soft.
