...to freeze cooked ham? Bought a packet of ham with 10 slices in it but it doesn't say on the packet if you can freeze it, but it does say use within 2 days of opening. As I can't manage to eat 5 slices a day I wondered about freezing it, and if so, do you wrap each slice individually?

I bought 2 packs of ham (it was a BOGOF offer). One was eaten and one went in to the freezer in it's packet and eaten the following week. It was ok.
Mrs sqad says:

Yes you can.......but she (Mrs sqad) wouldn't.
Yes you can freeze it and I would wrap it in portions, so if you normally have two slices in a sarnie wrap up two slices. Saves on cling film and is environmentally better too.
Ignore the 2-day "warning" - it's just a marketing ploy. Four or five days in the fridge should be OK in my experience.
You might find that the flavour is affected if you keep it frozen for too long - a week or two should be OK. You don't need to wrap each slice individually; just wrap a meal size together.

Thanks for your answers. I will wrap 2 slices at a time as EcclesCake suggests as if I keep it in the fridge for 4 to 5 days, it would mean having it everyday. Don't know why I didn't think of that when I bought it! :-)
Hope you are all correct - I froze a 4 oz. pack of cooked ham 2 weeks ago - I am in hopes....
