I`ve had 3 chicken carcases frozen for over 6 months,are they still safe to make soup after this amount of time ?

If they were fresh when you froze them they will be fine. I've used older frozen chicken for soup and nobody had died (yet!).

Ive seen Turkeys in the supermarkets with a sell by date 3 years away, 6 months should be no problem.
I wouldn't hesitate to use them. Trying to clear freezer at the moment and finding, cooking and eating lots of stuff that's been frozen for ages - texture is the only thing that seems to suffer a bit.
I don't bother to defrost it to make stock, just bung it in water when it's still frozen (the chicken, not the water).

Not sure if that's a major risk, but I've done it for years...
