Microwave Rice Cooker..again

Rocky, I've just used my trusty little beige rice bucket and the rice has come out perfectly cooked. Using the cup which comes with it, I used two of brown rice and four of water, bunged it in on high for 18 minutes. It's been sitting there for ten minutes and I just had a look...perfect.
How did you get in with yours?

I boil mine in a saucepan for 12 minutes and it's perfect. Who needs a gadget like that?

Blackadder, judging by the number of times I have read questions about cooking the perfect rice a lot of people appreciate having a 'gadget'.

i was given a rice cooker as a gift but prefer the hob made boiled rice

Hi Eth, I used the rice cooker the other day using your instructions (white rice), still had poor results :(

Once I discovered the riceboy I wouldnt cook it any other way, comes outbjust perfect and right amount too!

That's the exact gadget we're talking a out BusyBee, the beige bucket with red lid. I agree, they're great, but poor old Rocky isn't having any luck at all with it.
