Fibre-Rich Bread

Although not made obvious in the wrap HOVIS have produced a high-fibre bread
Seed Sensation (orange coloured logo) Each slice contains 5.5 grams of fibre!

If any ABrs know another commercial bread with more, please post here!

But how many of those seeds go right through you without being absorbed though? I would have thought the linseed and poppy seed do.

I will look out for this and try it. As a rule, I don't like Hovis bread it's too sweet and doughy but I will give the new one a try. I don't mind spending money on decent bread. How much is it?

Here in Scotland at Morrison or Asda it's a wee bit dearer than normal bread at £1.45....

We have a lovely and local French bakery which makes theeeeee most gorgeous breads. Rather expensive but oh so yumsy. So many cheapie breads are disgusting. It's worth paying a bit more to get a good one.
