Craster itself is a lovely village with little, blue boats in the tiny harbour (I've painted around there). A friend's mother wrote a poem 'The Blue Boats of Craster', a copy of which I keep and hope to illustrate one day. Worth visiting and there is a great, easy walk up along the coast to the castle.
My preferences are, naturally, Beluga caviar, foie gras de l'Auvergne etc.... - as posted before by someone (sorry, forgot who).
Sir Oracle - anyone who ate 'Harry Ramsden's Fish & Chips' and lives outside a 10 mile radius of Guisely (W. Riding) is deceived by cheap franchised muck. I was lucky enough to grow up near the original 'Harry's' and it was incomparable, certainly as late as the mid '90's. Hope it still is and that the chandeliered restaurant is still there - will check in a month or 2.
