How To Know A Good Make Of Cookware
7 Answers
Hi all,
I am going to be moving into my very first home soon (all on my own!) and I would like to buy a good quality frying pan and griddle pan, but I don't know a good brand to look out for and the one's to steer clear of. Which one's would you suggest? I hear Tefal are good.
Thanks x

I would go for stainless steel with steel handles. Wood or plastic handles burn/melt. I've had Le Creuset but unless you are a competent weightlifter they are far too heavy to lift when full. Non-stick don't last either but I've had my stainless steel for over 30 years and they still look brand new. I have had burning but they clean up well. IKEA do some excellent steel pans at a very good price and they will work on induction hobs.
