I like McSweens
Macsween!
McSweens!
I haven't had haggis since I was up in Scotland (Ages ago) although that was in the Hotel restaurant, I think I'll look for that brand Tesco' tomorrow I need to do some shopping.
Having never had haggis, I ordered it online with my grocery shopping. None in stock, so they substituted it with black pudding. Pretty certain the tastes can't be that similar? Utilised the pudding with sausages, eggs and bacon in the end for brekkie, though
Yes McSweens is a thorough bred compared to most of the other breeds.

Well worth the bit extra that it costs.

Remember your mashed potatoes and turnip .!
None of the big mass produced beasties are a patch on the small local butchers recipies, Wynnes of Fort William, Mchardy's in Stonehaven and of the butchers in Ayrshire.... thats a pride thing, could have a bad one where Burns grew up.

A long way from Scottish butchers sadly, but McSweens is sold in our supermarket.
M&S own label is made by Mcsweens,so readily available.
MacSweens is okay but I find it a bit bland..... have to add a tot of whisky to it
