just bought 3 packs of beef mince from the yellow label stall at tesco ( cheap )

i want some ideas what to do with it, spicey meatballs ? something like that ?

i was hoping for a very spicy meatball recipe but chilli con carne or stew it is, cant think of anything else to do with beef mince.

If you're brave enough you could try steak tartare, which is raw mince mixed with mayo and topped with a raw egg. Bon appetit.

I agree with hc about draining all the fat off.I do this with a stew, boulanise or whatever. Even the very best mince has some fat on it.

Make your own mince, at least you'll know what's in it.
And then.... Cottage pie, spag bol, kofta, sausage, burgers, ...and on ...and on.

Afraid I do not like the texture of mince

The attached recipe is an amazing use of mince. I normally use 500grms of mince when doing it. This gives us two meals for two of us. Don't change the curry paste for something more mild, just use Madras as it gets mellowed down by the Rossti's .. we actually use Hash browns on top. If you make too much, just freeze the rest to have at a later date.
Superb with part baked rolls !
