...choose from a stick blender, a jug blender, a food processor, a 'nutribullet' type blender....which two would you choose and why. I really can't decide, I'm hoping you can help. I don't have the room for all of them.

I use a jug blender to make soup and I have a stick blender which I don`t use much but is quite good for some things - for example I made fig chutney and the recipe was for a chunky chutney but I wanted it smooth so I gave it a whizz in the saucepan with the stick blender. I wouldn`t bother with a nutribullet or processor.
I'd go for a stick first - then either the jug or (if it's a small one) the processor.
I manage fine with a Stick and a Jug.
Unless you want it for slicing and mixing too, I wouldn't bother with a food processor. I use my stick blender quite a bit, even in soups, so my jug blender rarely comes out any more.
Sorry to jump in janzman - I'm looking for a smoothie blender and would appreciate any recommendations
I have a stick, jug and processor, and I use one or the other with nearly every meal I cook. Love the three of them"
I have a stick for whisking in small containers, and a Nutribullet which I used nearly every day. They all have different uses, IMO.
thank you
