What kind of curry do you like, there are hundreds and probably thousands of different recipes.

Do you want to cook from scratch, if so what spices do you already have, or do you want to use jars?

Pataks Balti paste isn't too bad in my experience, but the madras one was very bitter, it may be worth you experimenting as what you like is very subjective.
I get mine from here http://www.angloindianchef.co.uk/ They do come up quite hot although I like that.
I am making a chicken casserole at the mo for 5 people. (on a coffee break).

I use one of the many packet casserole mixtures that you can buy from any supermarket, I choose the better ones.

Today I have used the Casserole Chicken Provencal, and I like to experiment with other stuff like, a frozen stir-fry veg which makes a change, and add whaterever suits me.

I also like to add some fresh leeks, and sliced potatos.
First microwave a whole potato a few minutes, with skin on, then slice.
Make your own casserole as I do. Simply coat your chicken in flour and fry for a few minutes in olive oil on medium heat until lightly browned on all sides. Remove the chicken and place in the slow cooker. In the same pan fry finely chopped garlic, onion, leek, celery, carrot (all finely diced) and potatoes (diced a bit bigger), fry all of this on medium heat for about 7-8 minutes, then add plenty of chicken stock, salt and pepper, good splash of worcester sauce and a couple of tablespoons of Branston pickle and colmans mustard, simmer gently for a few minutes then add to the slow cooker. Cook on low heat for as long as possible over 6 hours, if you like you can add dumplings (I used Sainsburys own herby ones in packet, just add water), add these about one to two hours before serving, turning them once, enjoy!
Still having problems with constipation DD, only 2 days ago you were 'bunged up ' on an oil rig now you are asking about chicken recipes. Chicken with prunes the answer?
Try maggi bags cook them in the oven, various nice flavours chicken will taste and be very succulent better than a slow cooker
