Restaurants Close To Manchester O2 Apollo

Hello, me and my partner are of to see a show at the 02 Apollo in Manchester next Saturday nice, I have been googling nice places to eat close by but so far nothing has jumped out at me.I know the arena isnt central to any restaurants (15 min walk) which is fine .
Has anyone got any reccomendations?

Don't know any close by (worth going to) but my suggestion would be to go to the fairly new Thai restaurant Thaikhun at the bottom end of The Avenue in Spinningfields which is really good with an amazing rustic Thai interior, and then get a taxi to the venue (should only be about £7).

It's not close to any restaurants really though it's not far from town really. If you want to walk then I'd suggest the end of town nearest, especially if one of you is wearing heels.

Spoilt for choice though in the city centre! May be worth going for the meal wherever there you fancy and grabbing a taxi as not far out.

If you give me an idea of whether you want to walk or taxi, and the type of food and budget I could suggest somewhere.

I must admit, I've been wanting to try Thaikhun! Looks fantastic and so many new restaurants opening up around there!
