I've just learned that McVities/United Biscuits have discontinued their delicious Taxi biscuits.

My question is has anyone found a biscuit similar to them in supermarkets, perhaps an own brand alternative?

Tunnock wafer biscuits, I think may be similar. They can be found at Poundland

Thanks for your reply, Litlmissbuttons.

You're right - Tunnocks do produce a caramel wafer.

I tried them but they're much crispier than the Taxi, less chewy and don't have the central chocolatey layer.

Still looking for an alternative and open to suggestions!
