So hands up who is buying coconut water?

Any of you, one of you or none of you?

Having been subjected to an extraordinary amount of coconut water recently I am assuming the entire country is drinking the damn stuff!

Not me, last time I drank Coconut water was from the shell after winning one at the fair in the 60's.
Had a fresh coconut a few weeks back and poured the liquid down the sink.
I have been buying it for about 2 years because I like the taste
Not buying it and not drinking it.

It seems to be the ubiquitous health drink of the moment. I find it terribly sweet which doesn't suit me at all, the flavour is OK but the sickly sweetness is too much for me.
Tried it and didn't like it.
not me, the smell of anything coconut makes me want to hurl.

I like it. I buy it once every couple of weeks. No one else in the house drinks it though.

I didn't know it was considered a healthy drink. My mum used to buy coconuts when I was little so it's a taste I'm used to.
Chanel...drink it straight but I reckon it would go well with vodka :-)
The water tastes better than the flesh. Probably because of the sweetness. Nuts aren't particularly pleasant (some worse than others) but add sweetness and things can become palatable.

Er no I can't recall the last time I had some. I'm unaware there is anything ubiquitous about it.
I got stranded on an island in Thailand. We were told by the only English speaking person that we'd have to stay over night. One of the men got a coconut, pulled out a machete and chopped the top, shoved in a straw and gave it to me.

I was a little bit scared.
I love the taste of coconut, a Bounty Bar marinated in Malibu is a gourmet delight as far as I'm concerned, but I find the water too sweet.

This looks like a level-headed account

Tried it, didn't like it . It had little or no taste. It's certainly being "pushed" and promoted heavily at the moment.. Lots of BOGOF offers on it.
