We're having borlotti bean tiger prawn and chorizo horneado, it's just having its last ten minutes in the oven, one of our favourites.

My dad loved both spam and corned beef so as children we had both regularly, the spam was always in a fry up instead of bacon, the corned beef sliced with a salad, probably instead of ham.
I've personally never bought spam but used to make a tasty corned beef hotspot, haven't made one for years.

We'd have a curry, which for some unknown reason had grated apple in it, and it was served in a circle of rice.....always a circle of rice.
I can't remember the last time I had corned beef. I do remember when the works canteen started getting 'all fancy' with its bread and started serving ciabatta and focaccia. Their signature sandwich was corned beef and pickle on ciabatta, I dodged that particular offering!
