Steak pie, boiled baby potatoes and carrots accompanied by butter! Plus, for pudding, prize-winning Victoria sponge cake (says she, polishing her nails modestly after collecting a Third prize in the village show this afternoon). Sorry for showing off, but I got chucked out of cookery at school, haven't baked for 20 years and got talked into a very nervous entry - no, there weren't only 3 cakes, there were 10!
Yep. My brother took him out yesterday to buy him a couple of suits to wear for Sixth Form (Mr RR and I are useless at that kind of thing). He tried one on to show me earlier and my heart sank, as gorgeous as he looked in it, he looked like a young man. My baby has well and truly gone :(
I'm having a takeaway. I don't know whether to have lobster bhuna (not actually lobster but the biggest prawns you've ever seen) or King prawn potential.
Thank you ethandron - I think the answer to your question is a very firm 'No'.
Mr. J2 is, however, so supportive (for that read 'he's a greedy cake-lover') that I'm feeling encouraged enough to have a go at a few cakes. Perhaps one a week when we've finished eating-up the offerings prepared for today (I practised all week!).
