Chicken & Pasta Dish

Kind of nominted myself to make tea tonight not knowing mum already had chicken in a creamy ssuce and pasta in mind already, which she assures me I know how to make...I don't actually have a clue!! Don't want to face her wrath by making a total pigs ear of the dinner (like i usually do!!) so has anyone got a nice simple recipe i could use?! Thanks.

fry off chicken and onion, garlic and some chopped up bacon.

Make a cheese sauce............ie butter in a pan, bit of flour, mix together, then slowly add about half a pint of milk continuously stirring until thickened up a bit.  Chuck in a handfull of grated cheese. 

Mix everything you've made so far with some cooked pasta, throw it all into a dish and top with some breadcrumbs and parmesan, or if no breadcrumbs or parmesan just some more grated cheese.

Fry chicken, onions, bit of garlic, maybe some red peppers, then stir in a carton of sour cream. Season liberally with black pepper.
