Christmas Baking

Yesterday himself made the Christmas cake. As I write this, he's in the kitchen making the Christmas puds. Next week it will be mince pies.
He knows if he doesn't make them, he'll either get shop bought or do without. I hate the faff of baking but I think he enjoys the precision of it.
Have you done any Christmas baking yet?

ethan, there's something really enjoyable about Christmas baking & baking the Christmas cake. Soaking the fruit, the smell ... & some Christmas music playing in the background. If you're in to Christmas .. it's wonderful.

Well, you spurred me on, Eth.....and the Co-op has 3 for 2 on baking stuff so I've got the dried fruit soaking in brandy and stocked up the baking cupboard...x.
