Has anybody enjoyed the Wine and Dine from marks and spencer - it looks great value very much but for me it looks too much for one person.

Could any of it be frozen.

it says on the boxes what can be frozen and what can't, also check the dates as if I get a dine in I will eat it over several days. You have to also check whether you want the wine (or juice). This time I had the sea bream and potatoes parmentier, the apple tarte tatin and a bottle of frizzante and it was all excellent

I'm usually not one to plug the place where I work, but our £5.00 frozen deal is, in my opinion, a way better deal.

I had the dine for two for £10 last night. Considering the duck breasts alone would have cost £8 I think it's a pretty good deal.

If bought outside of the deal the food would have cost £21.30.

The deal changes every 3 weeks Woofy, so always worth checking on.

So once you've thrown in a bottle of wine the deal is just as expensive as M&S...except the food from M&S is fresh...not frozen.

Agreed, but Jenny asked fi any of M&S's food could be frozen. This deal's already done that job for you. Plus the Co-op deal will last for several meals whereas M&S's only does the one.

I was just doin' my tight norther routine and comparing the two, and finding the co-op one to be a better deal.

Failing to see your logic there Pasta.

Why would you get a whole box of fish pieces out to defrost if you're going to only eat 2? Same with a tub of icecream? Just take what you need out and keep the rest in your freezer as you would any other frozen multipack item.

My co-op meal deal idea isn't what Jenny was asking about anyway, and it was probably daft of me to mention it, however i was just suggesting a far cheaper and more practical alternative.

The Co-op is a good everyday deal but you can't beat M&S for the food

Yes, Pasta, it's 'Dine for Two for £10'

Today I got a whole marinated chicken, fresh veg, chocolate fudge cake...and wine...which is quite nice. The chicken comes in a roasting bag and a roasting tin so less washing up :-)

I never get it when I`m home but those deals (and the Tesco one) are brilliant when you are self catering. Cheaper than a night out and no cooking.

I don't know what the Co-op meal deals look like,but I was assuming that if they are frozen then it may be difficult to take a portion...unless they are frozen in individual portions already.

Ah...I just looked at the link and I see they are individual bags of the separate items. Not quite the same as the M&S meals.
