Hoping to have a birthday drop in for my husband. Getting a bit worried about how to stagger things. How does it work, the whole logistics thing? Firstly thinking a Saturday afternoon and the time 1-6 though obviously don't expect people to leave dead on 6!
Never done it this way before, suppose you have to know what time people are arriving roughly and put out the second lot of food when say half of people have arrived? Will probably be about 30-35 guests. Hope to buy trays of sandwiches and sushi and then cook sausage rolls and a few nibbly things, mainly cold food for ease I'm thinking. Any ideas very welcome, thank you!

my neighbours do a 2-10 drop in every year for xmas. As far as i can tell, she does a cold buffet, but regularly puts out hot quiche, sausge rolls etc
