Plain Yogurt
Little bit of sugar.
Tilly, would you really put yogurt into a chilli?
Peel a potato, cut into small chunks and simmer until potato is cooked. Remove.
Other trick is to add tablespoon of natural yoghurt
If it was too hot I would, Ummmm. It takes away the heat.

sugar works well

DaisyNonna's potato tip works. It will also work have over salted a stew or soup.
You would of course dispose of the unwanted potato pieces in an environmentally way.

environmentally friendly way.
Pop the potato in a curry the next day
Blimey I thought FrugalFred would suggest that potato saving tip!! :-)
Serve with bland bread, rice, pasta & lots of water
A child remembering rationing!
Stir some sour cream into it
